Can’t miss the Shinkansen if you don’t buy your ticket until you get to the station. Not sure why anyone would pre-book outside of a holiday period.

Me and my buddy didnt know this and tried to get another ticket but it wouldn’t let us we just waited till the train got the last stop We sat at a park bench for an hour before the system let us buy another ticket 😂😂

Shinkansen is still more forigiving while with thunderbird, all are reserved seats 😂 i was running with all my might during my transfer in tsuruga station lol

Hahaha. The shinkansen station is so chaotic and complicated. I wont be surprised if a lot of people missed the train. I always give my self 1 hour allowance for figuring out where is the platform about.

If you miss it, get on the next one and talk to the conductor he was nice enough to put us in reserve seats that werent taken.
