I was yesterday days old when i learned chathpt cant read pdf files, instead they guess what the file is about, look it up then give you a summarized search result disguised as the pdf’s contents

No… it doesn’t necessarily have the be VectorDB, it’s just one of many vector database products. Others include Pinecone or pgvector

😁 It’s not work very well when the information is repeated and not consistent like ask company address if there are more 10 addresses Rag breaks but it’s quite common in humans book documents. For Rag not really understanding the documents, they just copy information around mechanically and use Ai to make beautiful sentences
