@travly: A few years ago, Los Angeles made a bold move to replace all of its old sodium streetlights with modern LED lighting. These photos show the dramatic difference that change created. On the left, the city is bathed in a warm orange glow from the old high-pressure sodium bulbs, giving the streets a hazy, golden tone. On the right, the new LED lights illuminate the same areas with a cooler, clearer white light. The results are striking — not only does the city look sharper and more modern, but the LED lights are also far more energy-efficient and reduce light pollution, allowing the night sky to appear darker and stars more visible. This massive project has transformed the way Los Angeles looks after dark, turning its once amber-hued streets into a crisp, futuristic cityscape. 🎶 Gonzy - Gangtel #losangeles #california #city #travel
