Oh my goodness I was in South Africa. I didn’t experience any of that. I stayed in the Santon hotel. I walked from the mall back to the hotel because I wanted to I could’ve got a car cause the hotel will pick you up, but I just felt like walking I must be covered by God because I was chilling

Crime in South Africa is exeggerated. I'm a South African in Joburg and have never experienced what you talking about. Of course there are areas that are regarded as dangerous like some certain places in the US and If you avoid such places you have nothing to worry about. Is your advise based on your experience or what you've been told?

I just left there and had absolutely no issue. I was there for 2 weeks, visit Cape Town and Jo-burg as a solo travel. Never felt unsafe and I walked in areas that people considered unsafe. Ppl were cool.. love Soweto and will go back
