We need to change how young boys treat girls. Adults tend to brush it off because they are kids. Hatred towards any other/different group should not be tolerated and left to fester. It’s quite negligent.

I can attest to that. I started teaching teenagers in 1997 and I watched the shift. I was always a feminist so we discussed these things, plus I taught history so it comes up in my content. It was getting better. We were winning. This is backlash because they know the end is near for patriarchy so they are going to force us backwards. But there’s no going back because the girls are aware now and can make their own future. They weren’t raised to believe the bullshit I was.
