No matter your project plan no matter what you are telling LLMs and think you have everything covered you are not even close to coved. LLMs with no development oversight can’t truly create anything outside an MVP or simple app. This is perfectly fine for your first iteration and proof of concept, however non-dev people need to understand that what seems to be working on the surface from strictly outputted LLM code is in no way going to scale and properly handle user data. You will get hundreds of lines of unnecessary code from any LLM where a few lines would suffice along with redundant third party API calls utilizing no caching for efficiency and running up API cost that would be catastrophic at scale for any startup. Also the fact I haven seen a single person on TikTok and using LLMs talk about their own encryption methods which are a vital piece of implementation, absolutely necessary on any production app.

I have a context.md file in my code base. it details the entire project plan, and todo items. every time I make updates or complete todo items I tell claude to update the context file. every time I start a new prompt I tell it to always reference the context md file. it keeps claude more focused.
