@rosegallagherbeauty: Elizabeth Hurley on 30 years of breast cancer awareness with Estee Lauder Companies 🎀 I am pinching myself to tell you that tonight I spent some time with Elizabeth Hurley in celebration of her 30 year anniversary with the Estee Lauder group. As much as we know her for light hearted moments, from Austin Powers to Gossip Girl, the work Elizabeth has done over the years to raise awareness and support in a quest for a world free of breast cancer has truly changed lives. Here she shares some of her favourite moments from the past 30 years, and stay tuned for part 2 when I had finally shaken off the nerves and asked her about that Versace dress and her time playing Diana Payne! An enormous thank you to Damien Hurley who patiently filmed the entire thing for us then took to the mini mic himself (coming soon) because I was just as excited to meet him! An important side note - in 2013, I went to one of Elizabeth’s Estee Lauder breast cancer events as a beauty intern. We all got a leather bound pink book as a gift to take home, and in the 12 years that have followed I have written hopes and dreams in that book. One of the things I wrote was that I wanted to interview her, and it took me all these years but I got my full circle moment this evening. Please let this be your sign to hang in there! Social media makes everything seem quick, easy and all the more disappointing if it doesn’t materialise instantly. Maybe your thing is on the way to you, it might just take a while longer. I think I was too nervous for it to come across here, but Elizabeth was so warm, friendly and kind, and I loved every second with her! I know I get excited about things a lot but I really mean it.
