So interesting how the most privileged seem to be the most paranoid. And romanticize survival. It’s faulty logic; your daddy will always have a back up-plan for you. But besides being irrational, it’s also just shallow and disheartening. Perhaps these kind of people are most paranoid because there is no purpose in what they do? It’s all for show. It’s sycophantic. it’s having enough privilege where you can come in and claim something like fashion as your art form. And attach “survival” to it: something that is part of some of our present lives and past memories. Art is the collective accessibility towards abundance. It’s infinite. There’s no need to be paranoid about losing that… there is however need to be paranoid if your “art”, your “fashion”, is a meager wishing well of remedies for your insecurities. She seems like a fine human being truly, but it’s a shame when there are so many other inspiring woman out there really doing better for a collective whose voices deserve to be heard.
