hope you checked for anymore shorts in your defrost circuit you blew your fuse in defrost. not sure if it blew because of the loose wire but you would of see a arc mark

Never assume :
My go too after a new install or replacement is to check refrigerant, wiring, connections, defrost timer…. Not always in that order

I haven’t done refrigeration in a while, but I remember having to pull all the refrigerate out and weigh it in because it was critically charged?

Nice A to B diag. Only tip I have is if you notice Vsat to be off before wasting the steps to get off the roof, take your meter and see if your defrost timer is sending and cutting power as it should as you rotate the time clock in and out of defrost🤙🏻💯

Installed a new compressor with rotor locks, pressure and micron tested with decay tested. Disconnected liquid access port and the scheader core blew out. 24lbs of 404a gone in seconds.
