I have friends/family who are teachers. They have two 'go bags' one for a girl one for a boy that has everything they need all together. Grab the bag and most is done/ready.

What’s crazy to me is that American students don’t have to bring their own pencil cases, folders etc. to school. If u forget anything at all in my country, the teachers are not gonna give a single sh*t about it and you’ll need to ask a classmate for a pencil (which is also considered a bit weird)

I’m confused, as a new mom who will send my daughter to school for the 1st time next yr…why are you getting a school box ready for them? I thought we send them off with all that? I know some students hardly have anything but I assumed it’s the parents responsibility to pull all of that together
