I knew I was donor conceived my whole life and it literally never bothered me. I then met my bio dad when I was 20 ish and I do call him my dad now we’re so similar lmao 😅 but my bio mom also bought out the rest of his stock, I guess, so that I wouldnt have tons of half siblings. So he has no other kids and I’m the only bio kid he knows about.

I think it’s really cool that you are active in those children’s lives. I never met my donor, but really wanted to as a kid. Realized at 18 that that wasn’t something I needed to do, but tried to connect years later when some health stuff came up. Turns out he moved out if the country a few years after donating lol

One of my best friends had to adopt due to ovarian cancer. They do an amazing job of keeping the birth mom and grandma in the look without confusing their daughter.

I'll go back through and watch your videos for context, but my first question is why? Of course knowing their full medical history is essential, but I thought of donor conception as a "tool" not that the donor is then part of parenting. Did the kids say they want to know you? That of course would be a no-brainer. But otherwise, why?
