i have Hashimotos and my liver does not process alcohol like it is supposed to yet i have not had my liver checked even once. 2/3 siblings have thyroid problems (one low, one high) and my mother has graves (her brother too) and NONE of them have ever been checked - not surprised in my country though (Denmark for those wondering)
