I use the directions rose red, covers all my gray and I have a lot but I do leave it on for an hour and my bath looks like a unicorn has been murdered in it after I wash it out 😂

I think it looks nice, but if you want to fade it quick baby shampoo or head and shoulders are good and pulling vivid colours out and hot water when washing it. Also just for awareness what you have described as an intrusive thought is an impulsive thought. Intrusive thoughts are distressing, unwanted, over powering thoughts that are usually linked with mental health condition and using the term incorrectly is taking away the seriousness of the problem, no hate intended, it's purely for awareness.
