Max towing rating on my 2000 7.3 excursion is 11k max towing for the burb is 8k. Suburban can’t do the toy hauler filled with toys. If they made it with the trucks duramax I’d probably upgrade.

GM did make a couple custom order 2500 and even 3500 HD suburbans / Yukons with the real 6.6 Duramax for the government up until 2019. Look them up. If you can find one or buy it you’re extremely lucky.
