For those who don’t know a Prix Fixe is a set multi course meal at a fixed price. It’s usually a thing at formal/ fine dining restaurants. Other restaurants can have them during seasonal holidays where they have set dishes on specific days

It’s suuuuper normal that the entire table must participate. A lot of restaurants put “Entire table participation required” on the menu to make that clear.

That’s not the customers fault.,That’s a management/owner problem. What you should say, is that is the restaurant policy . Would you like me to grab my manager for you? It won’t change until they get enough complaints.

even IF i agreed with the customer (which tbh I do) WHAT is the point of hassling the server who has no power over that decision. Ask to speak with a manager or something lmao, or just go somewhere else
