Here is how I am tackling my protein overloaded hair to restore moisture and balance: - wash with Curlsmith Detox Clarifying Shampoo (enough to get good lather) - deep condition with Curlsmith Double Cream Deep Quencher (leave on hair for 30 mins and then rinse off with warm water) - section and brush style small sections on dripping wet hair. Apply leave-in (I used Camille Rose's Curl Milk) brush, then apply gel (I use Giovanni's LA strong hold gel) brush again. DO NOT RAKE OR SCRUNCH. dont touch that hair at all.
