Here in Finland I’m paying tax here and they gave me job. And they are using the tax payers money to develop the country, ones you pay your house rent you are entitled to data, clean water, 24/7 electricity, good transport system, education system standard. Tax paying here is working. In Nigeria reverse is the case. My dad paid tax throughout his service year upon his retirement his pensions are not paid.

People don’t want to believe it, but Nigeria has enough resources already. Taxes shouldn’t even be a priority if the goal is real development. This same government couldn’t pay subsidies, yet in less than 2 years they’ve increased data, call, electricity, and water tariffs. Now they still want more taxes — after collecting ₦50 on every ₦10k+ transaction? They’re not broke, they’re just greedy. The system keeps milking citizens dry while giving us nothing in return. No light, no jobs, no progress. Just suffering.
