I have medium porosity and if there’s no product in my hair, it will drive fast and my hair does not take that long to get water into. I would say like a normal pace.

do u ever spray then brush the water in ? im a high porosity girl so im not sure if that would work but i think it would help ur hair take that water yk !! i always do that

It’s probably the mister bottle. Same thing used to happen to me. When I went back to an old school spray bottle, I saved sooo much time.

Try using a clarifying shampoo once a month. It could be doing that if there’s product left on your strands like oil.
