wow this is sooo cool i wish i knew about this before my amputation to see if it was an option for me. i dont think it would have been because of the circumstances of my amputation? but it would be nice to know because im over a year post op and still get really bad phantom pain sometimes

Does the squishiness make it harder to walk on or fit a prosthetic to? I feel like walking on a squishy foot would be really weird

I’ve had so many TMR AND RPNIs ect, I have a leg though… the amount of neuromas I’ve had removed 😩 my pains so bad I’ve actually asked for an amputation, but due to my extreme pain and CRPS, I would have the same pain even with an amputation 😩

I used to work as a dialysis nurse early 2000’s, more than 1/2 of our patients had limbs removed. The amount of phantom pain the patients dealt with was so incredible sad/frustrating!!! They were begging for help. I’m so glad new intervention’s have been found. Be well!!

I know you said you dont get phantom limb pains/nerve pains but when you touch the bottom of your stump, does it ever feel like you’re touching your foot? I’ve always wondered 😂 x

my TMR scar is a long scar behind my knee. I got into a habit of just swinging my stump when I'm sitting.
