@kayandtayofficial: We finally got to hear her precious cry! Such a beautiful sound! 🥹❤️ backstory ::: The last 9 months was such an amazing journey! Kay enjoyed being pregnant so much, but at the end, she was so ready to have bug and finally meet her! 🥹 Kay ended up having to be induced because of her lupus. We got to the hospital and she got all hooked up. The contractions weren’t happening very quickly, so someone came in and popped her bag to jumpstart the contractions! After that, it almost immediately began to get intense! Kay wanted to go as long as possible without an epidural so that she could stand and move around during labor! She was so strong and handled the contractions amazingly! When they did the epidural, it didn’t perfectly work at first and only half of her body was numbed, but luckily, after some time, the epidural worked fully. Which was perfect timing because Kay dilated from 5cm to 10cm in an hour! 😳 that would have been rough if it hadn’t worked! Kay pushed, and it ended up taking a lot longer than we thought, but she was so strong and took breaks and pushed over and over until bug finally came out. She was healthy and didn’t have any immediate issues! 🥹 Kay had a rough time there at the end, and took a little longer to recover. But she was so strong through it all, and I’m amazed at her ability to birth a whole human! 😂 3 times!! Now we get to enjoy the newborn bliss, and add bug to our family!
