Im from Los Angeles, my son is autistic. I’m not sure if there’s Regional Centers outside of California. But for my mamas that live in California go to your nearest Regional Centers. They help with programs where they give mom a few hours a week to do things on their own and the kids stay at home with a respite worker. They have other programs also. Hope this helps someone.

Omg literally just said this to my mama yesterday that I cannot be The only single parent with an autistic child struggling but everyone I know or have seen on TikTok always has a spouse that works and the other parent stays home with their special needs child.

I’d give ANYTHING to be doing it solo….instead I have to send all 3 (youngest is autistic) every other weekend, 50/50 every quarter for 2 weeks of fall break, spring break, Christmas, all 8 weeks of summer…..EVERYTIME. Every. Single. Time. They go, they ALL come back 2 steps backward & I have to FIGHT to regain any forward motion we’ve made….2 steps back for every 1 step forward….the bay sobs & screams & begs to not have to go….i fold DV while 12 weeks pregnant with him. So you can imagine the “care” they get at dads 😔

You are NOT the only one my baby boy is 6 years old severe autism, adhd ,hyperactivity and PDA. Baby daddy dont help much financially and never “babysits” no other family member takes care of him and I cant have a job💀.

girl I have 5 kids my oldest and youngest don't have it. But my middle 3 have it. Seriously busy everyday morning til night and a single one because I wasn't going to stay in a abusive relationship. He thought I wouldn't leave him because he thought I didn't want to be alone
