The issue is that a lot of people quit but don’t re-establish more healthy coping strategies, so when adversity hits, they can only think of their singular coping mechanism that they just gave up on.

its true you kick it in 3 weeks, but Im telling yall after 3 DAYS you won't be craving them like normal, I feels more like resisting a "sweet treat" when youre on a diet rather than that hard craving of a cigarette... if you can get past the second day, which is the hardest... I promise that the the rest of days are get noticably easier

psychological dependencies can be as difficult to kick as physical addictions for some. that's why people get addicted to weed, or chocolate, or jacking off. I get what ur saying (i bet if my grandfather had heard your words 10 years back he wouldn't be dead of lung cancer) but "your brain just thinking you need them" can affect you in exactly the same way.
