I watched a couple of times to understand the moral and this is what I think It reminds us that the most powerful battles we face are often the ones fought within our own minds, where doubt and belief shape the worlds we live in. The film shows that when we refuse to confront our deepest fears, they begin to control us, no matter how far we try to run. Yet it also teaches that courage, honesty, and self-awareness can break even the most complex illusions we create for ourselves. The moral of the movie is clear: true freedom comes from mastering your inner reality, because no dream is stronger than a disciplined and truthful mind.

He finally came clear in his mind; he realized his unbearable tragedy and that he actually killed his wife to revenge her murders (killing their kids). He conciously decided he cannot live with this pain - live as a monster (killing his wife), or die as a good man (accepting the trauma and his sin - revenge kill his love).
