Ah, I just read the real life story that I think this is based on! Donnell Stallworth at the shrimp basket, saving his long time customer who had fallen ❤️He even brought him a cup of gumbo to the hospital 😭💖

This happened to my grandpa. He went to the same place everyday for breakfast and when he didn’t show up for 2 day the waitress went to his house. He had fallen and broke his hip. That waitress was an angel! 🥰

We had a Grandpa Dan. He would get a Beef Dip Gravy with extra cheese, and a half Shandy, and leave a $2 tip. This was in the 90"s. Still remember him and his order.

I had a regular like that when I was a server. He had an episode at my job and my co workers grabbed me cause they know my full time job was as a first responder I was able to help him until an ambulance could get there. 🥰🥰🥰
