When I leave a review I always highlight GOOD and if there’s any “bad” I always preface by saying “I personally” etc because again food is a taste thing!

You hit the nail on the head! I’ve always thought this same thing. If a restaurant has bad reviews cause of spoiled food, rats, cockroaches etc.. and it turns out to be true.. CLOSE IT DOWN. BURN IT ☄️🔥 🤣 But if it’s on taste, I don’t want to know.

I agree! I own a restaurant and the Margin is low. Also, people have a off day, something can go wrong! your ingredients could be delayed and then you have to use something different and that difference can make the whole dish different. You just happen to come in on that day and you give a horrible review, that could make a big impact on a business. My mato if I try a restaurant and I don't like the food, I just don't go back.

I think food reviewers should have to disclose what gives them the expertise to speak out on food. Like if you have no training in food, your opinion means far less to me than the person that went to a respected culinary school and actually learned what food should look and taste like.
