A stranger’s dua is most likely accepted because it’s made purely for Allah swt’s sake: So, I ask you, the beautiful human reading this, to make dua with me: Ya Allah, if he is written for me, make him my naseeb and unite us in goodness, if not, make him better for me, increase his goodness, and fill my heart with peace. I ask You, Ya Allah, the Most Merciful, to make the man I want to marry, the man I cherish and love deeply, the man I wish to spend the rest of my life with and complete half of my deen with, my naseeb, the other half that completes me. Make him mine and me his, and allow us to be Islamically bonded in a halal way that is pleasing to You. Ya Allah, You have made him a reflection of Your beauty in creation. Just as the moon lights up the night and the stars adorn the sky, he illuminates my heart and brings joy and peace. He embodies everything beautiful, in character, personality, and appearance, and I could never ask for anyone better in traits or looks. Wallah, every quality he possesses makes my heart grateful to You. I ask You, Ya Allah, to make my parents and my family love, trust, respect, accept, and cherish him the way I do every single day, and to make his parents and family love, trust, respect, accept, and cherish me the way he does. Ameen. Grant that our marriage be filled with barakah, sakina, mawaddah, rahma, and protect us from hardships and tests. Bless us with pious, beautiful, and healthy children who love You and follow Your path. Ameen. I ask You, Ya Allah, to make our journey to marriage easy and free from hardship, allow our nikkah to happen smoothly and efficiently, make him worthy in my parents’ eyes, and help them accept his ask for my hand. Ameen. Ya Rabb, transform our love into something even more amazing than it already is, and let it end in marriage, a bond filled with Your light, mercy, and eternal blessing. And if, in Your infinite wisdom, You know something that we could do better for either of us, then guide us gently and make us better for one another, to do what is best for each other, our hearts, and our future, and fill our souls with peace.
