That’s fantastic to hear, I have worked in learning disability service for children and adults and no day was the same, a challenge and extremely rewarding. However, nothing is more satisfying than the individual being happy and settled 🥰

got to say Jo. I was part of the later years of my Grans life as she deteriorated with dementia. I know your sisters needs are different to my gran, but I have huge respect for the devotion you show to your sister. Its a thoroughly decent thing to do and I admire you for it.

My daughter is the same very destructive but after being in a extremely bad setting she is now happy still with outbursts but a lot more settled thanks to amazing support workers who don't get the credit they deserve

Thank you for sharing this Jo. My daughter lives in supported living and we’ve had many wobbles in the 1st place but have found something more suited to her now. Amazing carers who I know care for her ❤
