Arasaka definitely would keep that footage. And to everyone mentioning his mom’s jacket recording biometric data, that is the plot of the Edgerunners Mission Kit adventure for Cyberpunk: Red the tabletop game. The players are hired by Falco after the events of the show to track down David’s jacket after it was stolen by a random Valentino kid who had no idea what it really was. Arasaka hunts the players the entire time trying to find the jacket also, because it contains the biometric data that is even MORE valuable than a braindance.
