I’m sure it’s not easy doing what you do, but I personally think that what you show here you’re doing an amazing job ♥️just give yourself a little grace 🥰

I have to constantly remind mine and if we don't tell him to take a shower he won't it's definitely draining

some days what he does is good enough...I always lose patience...yet some days what he can do is good enough.

I hear you. He sounds a lot like my daughter. I do try to teach her those things but sometimes she just doesn’t get it and I wind up doing it for her. I am glad she’s calmer and can entertain herself with music. Years ago I was always in “chase” mode and that was so much harder.

Maybe a caregiver can come in to help you, is that an option for you, not being rude, I'm asking a genuine question!

I’m so worried about all of this. I’m almost 54 raising my 4 year old level 3 completely nonverbal grandson. He is still like an infant in so many ways. He doesn’t understand or follow any instruction. I don’t know what will happen when I’m too old to do it all. :(

It’s so tiring. I’m going through the same with macoy. Archer is very independent and I’m so grateful. But then it makes me sad because I think is it he’s independent or he has to be because macoy requires so much time and energy. 😭
