:-Jesus Himself said in Luke 11:23, “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” When you boldly declare that Jesus is more than a teacher or prophet — that He is God in the flesh, “Immanuel” (God with us) — it becomes a dividing line. Many people are comfortable admiring Jesus as a moral figure or wise teacher, but the moment His divine identity is proclaimed, hearts are revealed. The truth of Christ’s divinity confronts human pride and false religion. It exposes unbelief, because to confess that Jesus is God means surrendering to His Lordship. Those who truly belong to God are drawn to that truth — they gather. But those who reject Him as Lord and God — they scatter, because the light of truth exposes the darkness in their hearts (John 3:19–20). In short: Teaching Jesus as a prophet attracts curiosity. Proclaiming Jesus as God demands submission. That’s why, as you’ve noticed, when you declare that Jesus is God incarnate, only those who are truly of the truth will stay and listen — the rest will fall away.
