Sekiro is quite literally a perfect game, genuinely think it did almost everything perfectly. It’s just the prototype for tight semi linear fast paced action games. The story is so good for what it’s trying to do, almost all of the late game bosses bares connection to the wolf and their stories elevate the boss roster so much, every character is so endearing and it’s done so efficiently that the game is still super fast paced. I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said about the combat, I think it’s the best of all time. The levels are all memorable, the verticality adds so much to the level design and each areas enemy placements are a super underrated part of the game. The Sekiro world very much alive it gives fromsoft a lot more to play with in terms of environmental story telling, whether that be things like eavesdropping, enemies patrolling areas, different enemy factions fighting each other, and just the clarity and distinction between factions makes combat encounters feel more intentional. The world design is so underrated and the geography felt like it had so much continuity to it compare to other souls borne games, I love the fact that you get to explore differing Ashina castles four times it gives that main faction more narrative weight. The voice acting is suburb, as is the sound design. The art direction in general is super underrated. 10/10 masterpiece in my top 3 all time
