What I do with my garage is my business. My HOA is ok with three cars for each house and parking on the street is the only other place my two cars would be parked.

magic words. HOA, private roads. my neighborhood is all public. we can park on the street all we want. all the cars in my household do not fit in the drive and garage. I have 1 adult kid, a spouse, me, and FIL. the garage and driveway fit 3 cars. we are a 4 car household.

I live in Texas and people never park in their garages. These are brand new houses. It’s because they use garages as their basement. In the midwest having a garage was a luxury so I can’t fathom not using my garage

you had me until the kid comment. I would definitely bring it up to the HOA and get permission but if I was a family of 4 with 3 cars and a one car garage/driveway) I see nothing wrong parking the 3rd on the street.

I agree with you. And yes it does get old to have to move vehicles around when someone leaves, but we have done it for years. People just dont want to follow rules and guidelines anymore for some reason! Idk why either!
