I have a theory that they make the stipulation that you have to make 3x the rent before they approve you so they can keep cranking the rent up and they know you can afford it.

Most people live in unrealistic places for what they make. I make $1000 a week and live in a $825/ month apartment. I’m able to save plenty. Just be smart
