well in novel they really have an on and off relationship.. ji bozai marry the princess only for troop and he don't care about marriage first.. that's why he agree to marry princess for troop.. but he also make a bet if mingyi feel hurt or if he betrayed her.. he will give her 130k troops to eradicate him.. but the drama is different with novel.. so i think there will be no too many useless misunderstanding
