My erythema nodosum was a result of Group C Strep that the amoxicillin didn’t fully clear out of my body, then I ended up contracting rheumatic fever because of it. As a result I also contracted reactive arthritis, was out of work for 3 months the first year then 6 months the following year…it was hell but I haven’t had a flare up in five years…until today 🤦🏾♀

mine were triggered by nsaids so taking them only made it worse! EN is so hard to live with

ive had this for a full year! its super painful. long pants cause pain and i have terrible swelling. I cant find answers for whats causing it, blood tests, biopsy, CAT scan, MRI, infared treatment, circulation booster the list is endless. I put icepack on my legs which helps but its only temporary relief. I need help!!

I’ve been dealing with EN for over a decade with no relief. My dermatologist recommended colchicine about two years ago and it’s been my savour ever since. Still can’t find the root cause but colchicine makes it much more bearable.

I had this once in 2019 , I would never wish it on anyone. Since then I had many different health concerns going on and I ended up having Crohns this whole time.

Mine started with strep Dr said take maloxicam not ibuprofen or aleve also take prednisone helps

I have Crohn’s and it is just a fun side affect of the Crohn’s. It’s a common secondary issue. They should test you for underlying autoimmune issues. Don’t take no for an answer. It’s telling you that there is inflammation in your body. I have had it for six weeks now and it’s incredibly painful
