@snatched.anna: The forbidden is always the most desired. I teach my child to make her own choices and to understand what’s good for her body and what’s not. She has free access to candies, but she doesn’t obsess over them. Most of the time, she’ll actually choose a healthy snack, like fruit. I truly believe that’s important — because when you grow up with a restrictive mentality, you just end up craving sweets and chocolate even more.
