i am not a scientist however i am aware of “process C” which is how your body tells where we’re at in the day-night cycle based on loads of weird stuff like adenosine buildup and melatonin. it might be that if you’re in the middle of the day your body/brain are still working on daytime mode even if you’re actually asleep so it kinda doesn’t work ? also if you’re napping for less than 90 mins you aren’t getting a complete sleep cycle so waking up in the middle of deep sleep could mess you up a bit 🙀
