@akinbowilliams001: RUNNING THE RACE MISSIONS. Short one about raising the next generation rightly! I recently had a platform to engage with secondary school students from SS1 to 3. It lasted for 3 months and I can say that the way people live or turn out to be largely is from their upbringing. I had an entire SS2 class both male and female taking pride in cyber crimes and they were not remorseful about it; I had to end the class and take out my time to start counseling and meeting them individually. I Have seen situations where young folks dishonor their teachers at will because they are sure their parents will always defend them after all. I have been teaching and engaging with young folks in secondary school since 2016 but I have never seen anything like this new breed. At least those days, people do shameful things and hide them but they openly do them now with nothing to fear about! There is hope if we can start from our immediate family. We even have a name for the craziness; we call it Gen Z and they said another one Gen Alpha would be double! We say No! In a world where Romance is shared intimately between unmarried folks and it doesn’t raise a question in the heart of many, it is a failing world. Go on Tik Tok to see our young ones again!
