I’m an unashamed x32 fan. In all of the strategic buildout consultation I’ve done for churches that board is almost always a perfect balance between budget and approachability for volunteers for small/mid size groups.

Some good advice. But it depends on the size of the church. For smaller churches most will never fully utilize what a x32 can do, and you can find them for as low as $1000. But hey if you got the money and can upgrade to something newer, go for it.

Also - if you have Shure wireless mics, get Micboard - can be free if you have an old computer to run it on. Great for the green room to know who has which mic, and great for FOH to be able to quickly verify mics are on, charged, and have a good signal.

I love our x32 but am looking to upgrade our speakers and get my team on board with in ears. I have a lot of older volunteers who are dead set on using floor monitors. 🤦♀
