New swim dad here. Is this standard practice for both sprints and distance, or is there less roll and more (faster) strokes in a 50 free?

I absolutely love this! Can you also do the movement of the elbow leaving the water and the body rotating for breathing please! 🙏

All these posts about this type of stroke work. We did this in the seventies, called it “find clean water”. Everything old is new again.

I was doing so well swimming then ended up with a really bad shoulder injury, gave it time and tried again...and still in pain. what is the most likely cause? I had been swimming miles until that injury and now everytime I swim i seem to be injured or aggravating my injury..gutted
