I think yall missed the point of the Reze arc, she literally said herself the reason she didn’t attack denji on sight was cuz she as a spy knew everything about him and they shared similar upbringings so she felt bad for him. When later experiencing playing school and going on dates with him at the festival, she did get to experience how it was like to live as a regular girl and not the role of the bomb devil. She even explicitly says that nothing she said was a lie when she said she liked him. Denji and reze complete each other because they’re both teens who were robbed of their childhood to work under government, and also reze DID come back after thinking about how those first few days with denji could be her whole life.
