@malloryyann: I’m by no means a financial expert but we set a goal and actually achieved it by following these simple steps to put away money every month into our high yield savings account (HYSA). My biggest piece of advice is to first do an audit of your finances and create a spending and savings plan. It’s really hard to achieve financial goals without even knowing what your current state is and removing the guesswork on what you can afford to save each month is step 1!! It also helped that we had moved from CA to Indiana haha🤎
