you dont wash eggs😅 it removes the first "safty" layer so it needs to go in the fridge instantly and goes bad fast. you can gently brush the dirt of of the eggs and they are fine, you can wash them with water right before cooking them

I wouldnt say all year we have 15 chickens and they lay way less eggs in the winter obviously because its cold but if there is more reasons please do tell. already now we get only 4 eggs max some days nothing

Sir🧍♀️I JUST convinced him to let me buy 7 meat birds come spring to add to our current flock of 25 egg layers. This might have helped if it was on his fyp 😂

genuine question: in the Netherlands we are now advised against eating eggs from non-industrialized (?) chickens because the hobby chickens can have too high levels of pfas/pfoa. Is that not an issue in the USA? if I got chickens for eggs i'd have to test my soul first 😭
