@mishahwriting: Formula 1 is at the cutting edge of technological innovations, but we don't often get to see how that translates to real world applications. Here is one of the coolest examples of how F1 pitstops have saved the lives of countless children. #f1 #formula1 #f1history #f1tok #pitstop
It is amazing how quickly they can change the tyres on a baby now

Formula 1 also have a program where the engineers develop other technology during the off season. Mercedes did a cheap and efficient ventilator during Covid. Look up "Project Pitlane"

And this is how capitalism is a successful model to bring greater good. It is a tool and can be used to any means.we already have the tool, no reason to start from failed models like communism.

I got to see this first hand at Yale, my daughter was born five weeks ago, things went south real quick. the way the team responded on all three of Olivias crashes, was almost like a Broadway musical. everyone knew exactly where to be and what they had to do, it was clear they had run many drills for these kind of emergencies. now, 5 weeks later, my daughter is doing amazing. thank you Yale, and apparently, thank you Ferrari for helping to save so many babies!

Also during the pandemic the f1 factories helped the medical teams to create better filters.

I love the way how they would’ve had about six other Formula One teams all within a one hour train journey… but nope it had to be Ferrari and a trip away to Modena

I’m a paramedic In Scotland and we use something called “the pit stop method” when dealing with out of hospital cardiac arrests. Also inspired by F1. Works very well

I think Toyota taught a soup kitchen how to work more efficiently. wait times went from 90 mins to 18.

I'd say that's not alll thanks to an F1 PITSTOP.
it's the docs who saw the pitstop, and thought to apply the efficiency
