You don’t caulk around toilets. If you ever have leak from a bad wax ring, you’ll never know until it’s seeped in or under the floor.

Looks terrible and calk is cheaper to use, just scrape the old calk off and put some more I would say on a toilet leave the back side unclalked so if there’s a leak you will know quicker

At least leave the back open so if there is a leak the water will come out there instead of the floor below or dump out into your crawl space overtime rotting your floor until you and your toilet it fall through. If it’s on a slab, the water will just go underneath the flooring until it finds a place to come out potentially in another room. I hope this helps. I have seen all of this happen being a handyman for several years🙏🏻

As any plumber…never caulk or seal around your toilet! It will hold internal leaks and cause major floor or structural damage.
