@classicheidi: I noticed myself escaping into my phone, so I turned inward and sat with the part of me that wants to run, control, and not feel. I reminded her we’re not in survival mode anymore and she can finally rest. It’s my turn to lead♥️ #innerchild #healing #innerchildheing #heal #internalfamilysystems

how did an entire generation of parents fail their now grown up children, who are having to be both their kids and their own parents.

Not me scrolling on my phone, looking for an escape, not wanting to be here, watching this video 😭 Thank you for being so vulnerable. And now ... I can't deal with myself right now, so I'll scroll on, please and thank you.

I’m 32 and I don’t trust myself to do what I say I’m going to do. I want to be able to do what you’re doing

You’re doing amazing!!! I was in my 30s before I realized I was (mostly) safe and could calm down. It’s beautiful to know you’ve got you - and that it’s ok.

reparenting is really hard. I'm going through it now. and see all the self-abandonment I perpetuated. I'm hoping I can learn to do these things for myself.

I just wanted to say, you inspired me to reparent myself before going in public after a panic attack that hospitalized me. I talked so gently to myself because you taught me how. I continue to listen and learn how to be kinder and understanding with myself. So thank you

I don't know if you realize how much healing you're doing not only for yourself but for all of us by sharing your process. Thank you for that, I have started to try and talk to myself like that too and it's really hard to be this vulnerable even when no one is watching.

Heidi! So glad you’re on my fyp, I couldn’t remember your name - you helped bring about one of my biggest healing experiences! Last week, I was speaking to my six-year-old self like I have been for months (inspired by you!), hoping she hears and trusts me to take care of us. Suddenly, I felt her step into our shared internal space. I gasped, and realized sooooo many things in that moment. She finally trusted me enough to come see me, from the far-off corner of pitch black void that she has been hiding in for 30 years. It was incredible. I didn’t realize she was so far away from present-me that whole time until that moment. It really was a coming home. I spoke with her for an hour and cried with her. I thanked her for being so brave, promised her I’ll always listen to her, that we will have so much fun together, she never needs to handle anything alone, that I’ve learned so much in these 30 years that can help us, and others want to really love us too, to be in community. I told her “I got you, I got us.” And then I felt we were in a warmly lit cottage, sitting barefoot at the kitchen table giggling, with soup on the stove. She hasn’t left me since and I feel more whole than I ever have, there’s such a sense of integrated love *within myself* like I opened a blockage. I feel more capable and grounded. I could go on and share so much about this experience, but just wanted to share how much you helped me by modeling this for us. Thank you.
