For the sake of god, we CANNOT compare TS to a creative genius like Beyonce. TS isnt capable of being creative, she just wants to sell her album in bulk, slapped a theme to it and sent it to production, and it always work for her. But there’s nothing creative about her album, and those Easter eggs she keeps throwing around, are what make people think she’s “a genius” lol to be a genius the music has to be good first.

As much as i enjoyed some of the tracks in the album, I thought of this as a misopportunity to showcase the real sights and sounds of a showgirl era by incorporating her life and experiences in the Eras tour, her success, and celebration to make the theme more accurate and cohessive.

Yeah it's supposed to be her life behind the stage but we barely get any of that. A bunch of it was on Kelce but what about her own emotions on it? We only get it bits and pieces of it. Actually romantic was her response to the haters putting effort on hating her but that's pretty much it

I am a Swiftie and I am disappointed with how this album doesn’t match what she packaged it in. It would do much better if this album was called Honey or Opalite instead of TLOAS. Because nothing about that album gives showgirl for me. In a day and age of Beyoncé (and I am also Beyhive) and other artists releasing fully conceptual albums for me it’s important for it to be perfect from start to finish. Renaissance and Cowboy Carter are a perfect examples of that. Taylor was never the best at it, but the aesthetic never clashed as much as it does on that recent album.

folkmore is probably the closest taylor will ever get to doing an album where the visuals and the sound and the titles and literally matched the album perfectly like cc did, id even say midnights was so close.

The artistic direction doesn't mean the music needs to reflect "showgirl" music. You only expect that if you take everything literally. She was inspired by her life as a performer on the eras tour while also exploring her relationship with Travis Kelce.

I feel like Beyonce has a concept firsthand then started getting collaborators that goes with the idea that she first had while Taylor started by writing her feelings and everything and take collaborators to create a concept around it.
