Ok so they whole deal was J wanting revenge for his mom. Ok, cool. But everything that went down with his mom was on Smurf and all J did was become exactly what Smurf was. Like, what!? I genuinely hate J so much. I can’t even.

I really disliked Baz from the jump and Jay was an arsehole. Smurf was just plain evil. Pope was my favourite character and really well acted by Shawn Hayley.

I agree about the Julia thing. I’m sure she was hurt and lost after Smurf kicked her out and took everything from her but she was also so so smart. She could have easily moved away and got into a good school without the help of Smurf. When she first got a job, it was made obvious that she WANTED to work and get away from them and when she got the opportunity she nose dived off the deep end into hard drug use.? What!!? I had a hard time making sense of that too.

Smurf was a well written character... the last season was my least favorite as far as storytelling. loved that Jay was the smartest of them all!!! it was a good watch when it was on.

People become shorter when they age. and for the julia becoming an addict thing, there’s a lot of time skips between the episodes, when Julia returned to the house after being kicked out, a whole year passed by.
