Nutrition and hydration are two different things though. You all are supplied with plenty of drinking water so I don’t really see the advantage of the IV fluids unless he was given something other than normal saline or LR or like TPN but I HIGHLY doubt that. Just my two cents. Obviously in his situation I think it was more so the over abundance of caution of being medically observed in this situation than having an “unfair advantage” but the apple story is really interesting it’s cool to learn behind the scenes info from you.

They should have just explained that on the episode. They said they couldn’t ethically let him go back for his mental wellbeing.. the audience would have received the honest story much better.

I’ve always wondered it’s unrelated to the video except that it’s a behind-the-scenes question. Could you bring a camera to ponderosa that isn’t attached to the Internet in anyway so that you could document and then afterwords post your pictures or is that some thing that production says no to?

My niece talked to Jake at a viewing party; apparently after what we saw, his kidneys started failing and he was rushed to a hospital. The bite was not fully dry, but they didn’t want to scare the audience with the extra info.
