Good points. That said, If a wife truly knows her identity in Christ, and has the character that God made her with, she will not flip-flop, trying to see what he’s made of. Rather, she will believe in her man and trust him because of her trust in God. How a husband and wife treat each other, is how they treat God. If they don’t know the love of God, then this character or nature of goodness will be limited, and the behaviour will diminish the ability to have unity. Love never wants for self. Love gives into the life of another, especially husband and wife. Out of mutual reverence for Christ, both husband and wife submit to one another. That said, the man is the leader of Love. She is looking to her man for that role model of love. The character of Christ is who she’s looking for in her husband. By design. Love never fails.
